happy birthday derek!

I love photographing one year olds! Little Derek here was so much fun - such an adorable and happy baby! He had a blast digging in to his birthday cake and smearing the frosting all over his face. He was cracking me up the whole time. And I can't get over his big blue eyes - love them! Thanks again Megan - it was great meeting you. Hope the party was a success and he wasn't too full of cake :)

little miss mckinley...

is 2 years old...nuff said :) Doesn't this first picture just crack you up? One hand on the hip...looking like she's giving someone a piece of her mind. I love it! She wasn't much for getting her picture taken in the beginning but she finally warmed up to the idea and I was able to get some beautiful shots. Splashing in the water will make anyone happy! She is such a pretty little girl! Thanks again Megan for driving all that way to see me. It was so nice to meet you and your family!

how fun to turn one and get to smear cake all over the place! Eli is one of my favorite little guys to photograph. He's just always so happy and smiley! His mom, Jen, is one of my best promoters and I feel I can never thank her enough. She is in the process of starting her own company designing cards so look for some of them on my site soon! She's so creative and I can't wait to see what she comes up with! Thanks again Jen (and Eli) for letting me be a part of the celebration!

the adorable G family...

baby Owen, who is now 6 months olds, invited the rest of his family along for his photo session this time - and what a gorgeous family they are! I have so enjoyed getting to know his mom over the past few months so it was fun getting to meet the rest of the family. It's pretty obvious when looking at these photos and seeing them interact in person that there is so much love there. I look forward to being a part of their beautiful story and watching little Owen grow. Thanks again for a fun (and hot) day :)

brecken, emerson, & gibson...

oh what a difference a year makes! These three not only have the cutest names ever...they are also very adorable and sweet kids! However, they weren't too excited last year to get their pictures taken together. I think the best one we got of all of them was the 2 older ones picking on the youngest while he screamed :) Two out of three looking happy is good right? Well it was a whole different story this year. They all get a long so well and really seem to have become good friends. It was so much fun watching them interact and I love the moments I captured of their special bond. Thanks again Danielle!

these two were some of the first kids I photographed (professionally) so I was so excited to see them again. They are gorgeous kids and so photogenic - I could have stayed there all day taking their pictures. Thanks again Heidi for sharing your babies. Can't wait for the family session this fall! sneak peek for the C family...

I had the pleasure to photograph this sweet family last week - and what a beautiful family too! Little Jenna is just 3 months old and is so pretty and petite. And big brother Cole just turned 2 and is going to be quite the lady's man when he grows up. Just have a look at those huge blue eyes and dimples!
