baby carter...

is 3 months old! And such a little peanut. I can't get over his big eyes that take up the majority of his face. Talk about a perfect little baby face. Notice his eyelashes - how they curl up so nicely. Why do all the boys get the great lashes? I'm jealous! It was fun times as usual in the "w" house. I love going there and adore these kids. Not only are they cute, they are also so nice and they get along so well. This session was mainly for little carter - we don't want him getting that "3rd-child-no-photos" syndrome, but of course we had to get some of big brother and sis in there too. Enjoy...

I'm sure you can tell there's a little Irish blood running through this group - I love it! Big sis, Abby's, beautiful red hair and huge green eyes...ahhhh! Gabe is going to be a charmer - not only a handsome little guy but so sweet too. And then there's baby Lauren...what a trooper! We were worried in the beginning that we might not get any of her because she was exhausted. So I played with the big kids while she took a 20 minute nap and...voila - she was as happy as can be! seriously...have you ever seen a happier baby? I can't get over his huge smiles and all of his adorable facial expressions! Maybe he is happy because he knows he is soon moving to one of my favorite cities...Chicago. Although I'm sad to see them go, I know they will have fun there and hope they will be back to visit so that I can take more pics of this little cutie! Meet my two new buddies, Taylor & Cole. I've been so busy photographing babies that I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is to work with older kids. Not only are these two absolutely adorable, they are also the nicest kids I've met! Their mom and I went to school together and I think you'll see after the looking at the pics of her where they get their good looks - she's beautiful! Thanks guys for a fun-filled evening.

oh, and if you're wondering about this amazing location... they were taken in their backyard. It was stunning! I want to live there :)

sweet sadie joy...

an adorable name to match this adorable little girl! She was just a week old here and very cooperative - pretty much slept through the whole thing. The challenge of the day was trying to get big brother, Eli, who just turned two, in a picture with her. Poor mom and I were sweating towards the end. I think he had other things in mind to do with his time - can't say I blame him being 2 and all. He's such a cutie and so photogenic... I'll get you next time Eli :) I am very lucky to have their mom, Sarah, as a friend...she has referred so many people to me - I can't thank her enough! I'm so looking forward to watch these kids grow...

There's just not much I can say about this little guy besides that he's simply perfect. I could go on and on but the photos should speak for themselves...how can you not be in love? Congratulations to our wonderful friends Mandy and Jim. Truly...what a miracle in every sense of the word. It brings tears to my eyes to think he might not have been. God definitely has plans for this little one...
