baby blues...

how could you forget these adorable brothers? Blake is now 6 months old and get a load of those beautiful blue eyes! Just like big brother Nate's! I love everything about my sessions with this family... they have the best blankets, rugs, etc. - so many textures, wonderful lighting, did I mention the gorgeous blue eyes they all have?, and most importantly, lots and lots of love for each other. And what an honor to come in the front door and see a wall of my photos framed! There is seriously no greater joy for a photographer to see their work displayed like that so it can be truly appreciated. Thanks again B family - you make my job so easy! Enjoy your sneak peek...

charlie and his family...

Charlie-bear is 6 months old and such a doll! Those eyes...sigh. We took some family pics too for their Christmas cards. I'm really hoping Ben and Olivia can give my boys some tips on getting their pictures taken. They were both sooo good! Olivia just makes me smile - she's got such a cute personality. And it makes me sad to see Ben all grown up - I've known him since he was a day old. It really is a blink of an eye and they change. I love my bff and her family!!!

look who is a one year old...

Katelyn is another graduate of my baby plan. Her mommy was one of my first maternity shoots! I can't believe that was a year and 1/2 ago. This whole family is adorable and I've loved getting to know them over that time. Big brother AJ is 3 and such a good little guy. Not many 3 year olds are up for picture taking but he's a pro. Thanks again W family!

carter is 9 months...

I've been a non-poster for awhile now - sorry about that. I'm going to try to get caught up this week so I can show you some of the cuties I've photographed. I'm just back from an amazing newborn workshop put on by Kelly Ryden and Tracy Ravers aka the baby whisperers :) I learned so much about working with newborns and can't wait to show you some of the pics I took there so stayed tuned. But first things first... Here is Mr. Carter who is 9 months and growing like a weed. Rebecca and Ethan are always willing jump for a few too. I always love taking these guys pics - such sweet kids.

Have I said lately how lucky I am to have such an amazing job? I love getting the opportunity to meet such wonderful families like this one. The K family is so sweet and adorable and I had a great time getting to know them during our session last week. Little Koen is 3 months old and such a doll. I can't wait to watch him grow. well hello Mr. blue eyes...

Just go ahead and say it, get it out of the way... this can't be the real color of his eyes right? I know we're all thinking it. Well this gorgeous baby, Cavan, has been blessed with amazingly big blue eyes. Mix that with some wonderful natural light and this is what you get. I seriously could have taken his picture all day long but as you can see in the 2nd to last shot someone pooped out on me ;) Ohhhh Cavan - you are going to be breaking lots of hearts one day! But that's why we got the last shot - that should embarrass you enough when you're older! Thanks again Amanda and Casey - so fun as usual! Next time I want a full concert though Casey.

I always get a kick out of visiting Mr. Owen. His expressions and his hair get better each time I see him :) I had the privilege of seeing him on his actual birthday this time. I got to watch him open presents and eat some yummy cake :) He is such a joy and such a cutie! I will miss seeing his smiling face every 3 months - but I'm pretty sure this isn't the last you'll see of him. Enjoy your sneak peek G family - more to come soon...

one of the sweetest, most patient clients/people I know... Ms. LJ here has referred so many wonderful people to me - I really can't thank her enough! She now has a baby of her own for me to photograph and what a doll baby. Will is 4 months old and such a little cutie. Now, anyone who's tried taking pictures of a baby around this age knows how hard it can be to get them to smile. It's just so hit or miss. Will was way more interested in my camera than he was in smiling for it :) But I did get some of that sweet little smile. Thank you Laura and Tom - what a beautiful family! And thank you again for your patience!!
